Join SMPS Central PA for an interactive Proposal Roundtable designed to help marketing and business development professionals create proposals that stand out and win work. Led by Jennifer Ponce de Leon and Ann Mark, this collaborative session will dive into strategies for building a compelling win theme, highlighting team strengths and differentiators, using visuals to make proposals engaging, and aligning your message with client goals and project challenges.

  • Strategies to elevate your next submission

Each attendee is required to bring an example proposal.*
We’re looking for a variety of proposals: Commercial/Federal, Form-based (SF330), page limited, A4, and large packages with unlimited pages. Come with questions to generate discussion and gain a new understanding of creative and useful ideas you can implement immediately.

*If you don’t bring a proposal, you won’t be able to participate in the event, even if you’re registered. The proposal that you bring will leave with you and will not be copied or photographed. You may redact any information you wish to remain confidential.

Who Should Attend:
Marketing professionals, proposal coordinators, and anyone involved in proposal development—from emerging professionals to seasoned leaders.

Lunch will be provided to attendees.

About Jennifer Ponce de Leon

Jen Ponce de Leon brings 25 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and construction. She leads strategic pursuits and proposal development, securing more than $500M in winning proposal deliverables across higher ed, healthcare, corporate, and public sectors. Jen crafts content that resonates by simplifying complex technical information and aligning firm capabilities around client needs. She applies clear messaging and defined pursuit processes to secure work, strengthen relationships, and drive measurable revenue growth.

About Ann Mark

Ann Mark is a marketing and business development professional with over 20 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. Specializing in proposal development, she manages multiple deadlines, creates compelling content, and drives strategic marketing efforts that support strong client relationships and firm growth. Ann leads pursuits from kickoff through submission and manages capture plans for high-priority clients. She leverages her proposal expertise and strong relationships with technical staff to guide cohesive, client-focused pursuit strategies.

Ann is a past president and current member of SMPS Central PA.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations made 48-hours prior to the event will be fully refunded.  Due to our commitment with the meeting facility for food and beverage quantities, all other cancellations or no-shows will be invoiced for the full cost of the event.
