Enhance Your Career though the CPSM Mentoring & More Program
As a member of SMPS Central PA, you understand the value of continuous improvement through education, which can enhance your opportunity for professional success.  That’s why we designed the CPSM Mentoring & More program for all chapter members. This monthly series of brown-bag sessions will focus on each of the six Domains of Practice, and will benefit those who want to earn the CPSM certification, as well as those who just want to increase their understanding of marketing research, marketing planning, client and business development, promotionional activities, and management.

Participants will work in groups to present the domain information to their peers and increase everyone's knowledge of the study materials.  Each session will be mentored by a senior marketer who has achieved CPSM certification.

CPSM Mentoring & More Schedule: Third Tuesday of Each Month
October 20, 2015 - Program Kickoff Session
November 17, 2015  - Domain 1: Marketing Research
December 15, 2015 - Domain 2: Marketing Planning
January 19, 2016 - Domain 3: Client and Business Development
February 16, 2016 - Domain 4: Proposals
March 15, 2016 - Domain 5: Promotional Activities
April 19, 2016 - Domain 6: Management

Additional study sessions may be scheduled at the conclusion of the program and prior to testing (to be determined by program participants).

Location Information
Kinsley Construction, Inc. will host the sessions in the Kinsley Education Center at 350 Hill Street, York, PA.  (Directions will be provided to all participants.)  Bring your lunch, and beverages will be provided.  Each program will begin promptly at 11:30.

Cost Information

• Seven sessions plus TBD study events:  $75
• Participation in one individual session: $15
• The cost of the CPSM exam, study materials, and application fee is not included.

The program is designed to help members:

• Establish an exclusive mentoring network.
• Discuss practical applications and lessons learned with peers.
• Strengthen competency in the marketing and business development practices for the architectural, engineering, and construction industry.
• Facilitate study groups and testing for members seeking National CPSM certification.

 Cancellations made 24-hours prior to the event will be fully refunded.  Due to our commitment with the meeting facility for food and beverage quantities, all other cancellations or no-shows will be invoiced for the full cost of the event.
